Once upon a time, two parents decided to create better toys for their little ones. This is how our wooden toy factory, Ulanik, was born. Manufactured in Europe, we started in Prague, Czech Republic, and now we are happy to share our discoveries with the whole world.

The set contains 12 wooden balls (1.2"/3 cm diameter), 12 sorting cups (2"/5 cm height), a wooden bowl and spoon, a linen bag for ball storage, and a wooden Montessori tray. The bowl, balls, cups, and spoon are made of wood and well-polished, with the colored parts coated in BIOFA natural wax, safe for babies.

As your child plays with the Balls in Cups game, they will train skills in visual attention, thinking, memory, sensory and fine motor skills, as well as develop perseverance, diligence, and attentiveness. They will also learn concepts of colors, shapes, and quantity through comparison, classification, and analysis.

For children aged 1-3 years, we recommend playing under adult supervision. Help the little one hold the wooden ball with their fingers and send it to the cup, or hide different objects under the wooden cups for them to discover. Older children aged 3-5 can sort the cups and balls by color, start with primary colors, and gradually introduce new shades. They can also develop auditory and speech memory, catch balls with cups, build wooden towers, and create color sequences.

The Balls in Cups series from Ulanik includes various sizes and color options to suit your child's needs. Our wooden sorting toys are designed with care, using natural linden and birch wood, covered in child-safe wax, and tested at an ASTM-accredited lab. We provide instructions and game ideas in multiple languages, available by QR code on the product packaging.
